Good to know
You must apply for a temporary event notice for events at which alcohol is served:
1. Persons who have turned 21 may be in charge of serving strong alcoholic drinks without permission at events such as parties, meetings and similar special occasions if the serving takes place indoors to no more than 150 persons and if the strong alcoholic drinks only consist of beer and table wine. However, the police must be notified of the event.
2. The police may grant permission to a person who has turned 21 to be in charge of serving beer and table wine at events such as parties, meetings and similar special occasions irrespective of whether the serving of alcohol takes place outdoors and to more than 150 persons.
3. At the events mentioned under 1, the police may grant permission to a person in possession of an alcohol licence either alone or together with a person who has turned 21 to be in charge of serving other alcoholic drinks than beer and table wine.
4. If an event is hosted for charitable purposes or if other special circumstances exist, the police may grant permission to a person who has turned 21 to be in charge of the serving. The same applies if no holder of an alcohol licence is willing to be in charge of the serving.
Depending on the nature of the event, the police may require that you use authorised doormen.
