If you apply online
You can apply for a doorman ID card online or you can complete a PDF form. The processing time is significantly shorter if you apply online.Please have the following ready
MitID
A photo that reflects your current appearance (such as a passport photo)
Documentation of training as a doorman or security guard
A payment card (a Dankort debit card or the like)
Good to know
- In order to apply for a doorman ID card, you must have turned 18.
- " You must have completed a doorman training course. You can also apply for a doorman ID card if you have completed a security guard training course.
- " You must undergo a personal background check. This means that we will check whether there is any information about you in the police records that could cause concern as to whether you will be able to undertake the job as a doorman properly.
Since a temporary doorman ID card will not be issued, you cannot work lawfully as a doorman until you have received your doorman ID card.
The price of a doorman ID card is DKK 300. The price of a replacement ID card is also DKK 300.
If you have lost your doorman ID card, you must apply for a replacement ID card in the self-service portal.
Together with your application, you must upload the following:
- A photo that reflects your current appearance (such as a passport photo)
- Documentation that you have completed a training course
- A signed solemn declaration that you have lost your ID card
If you apply by completing the PDF form below, you must hand in the form at your local police station. The police will forward your application to the Administrative Centre of the Police.
Together with the PDF form, you must bring:
- A photo that reflects your current appearance with your civil registration (CPR) No. and signature on the back
- A diploma showing that you have completed a training course as a doorman or security guard
- Your passport, driving licence or any other kind of photo ID
