In case you have no registered convictions in Denmark, the certificate can be issued in English, German, French and Spanish. If you do have convictions, the certificate will only be issued in Danish. If you need the certificate in another language, you will need to get the document translated via a certified translation agency at your own expense.

Request certificate online
When you fill out the form, you will need to enter your personal information, upload a copy of your valid passport and provide a postal address where you wish to receive the certificate.
The processing time is currently up to five working days from the time we have received all the required information. Your certificate will be sent by regular postal service. Due to differences in postal delivery services, we are not able to specify, when you will receive your certificate.
Due to Danish legislation we are not able to send the certificate by email.
Requesting your certificate of criminal record is free of charge.
If you do not have an eIDAS eID, which is an electronic identity scheme, used by countries within the EU, to access online public services in other countries, we need you to send us the following:
- A written and signed request (No specific form is required)
- A copy/photo of your valid passport
- The postal address where you wish to receive the certificate
