Contact the Weapons and Permit Department

The Weapons and Permit Department (Våben og Tilladelser) of the Administrative Centre of the Police (PAC) considers applications for weapon certificates, background checks of airport staff, authorisation of providers of security guard services, debt collection agencies and pawnbrokers, approval of security guards, doormen, sporting event security guards, dealers in second-hand goods, CCTV surveillance, permission of parades and the flying of foreign flags and also monitors control centres.

Other applications, such as for permission to serve alcohol (temporary event notice), organise travelling fun fairs, host sporting and cultural events, organise amusement activities and operate land trains, are handled by the local permit departments in the police districts.

 

The national Weapons and Permit Department is part of the Administrative Centre of the Police.

Regarding background checks of airport staff, authorisation of providers of security guard services and debt collection agencies, ID cards for security guards and child passports without parental approval, please call +45 70 20 14 74.

 

The offices are closed on public holidays and on Constitution Day, 5 June.

Declaration of consent for preliminary assessment in connection with hunting licence

 

If you need a preliminary assessment of whether the police will approve your application for a hunting licence, you must send your request along with a completed declaration of consent to the Permit Department using the link below.
