The place of the event, a route description and a map clearly showing street names and a marking of the route. It is not sufficient to refer to links/websites or previous permissions. In case you need assistance with the regulation of traffic, the traffic stations must also appear from the map

An application for permission to host a cycling event is free of charge.
You must lodge your application about eight weeks before the event and preferably before, especially if it is a major event.
If you make the assessment that the event requires regulation of traffic due to its scale and nature, we must receive your application no later than eight weeks before the event.
Once we have processed your application, we will send a reply to you through Digital Post. The processing time may be longer if particular circumstances apply to the relevant event. In that case, we will contact you.
If you do not have MitID, you must send the relevant information by letter to the local Permit Department in the police district where the event is going to take place.

Please note that sending the application by letter increases the risk of errors, that the Permit Department must spend more time on processing the application and that it typically takes longer to send the application by letter.
Sending the application by letter may increase the processing time considerably, and you must therefore lodge your application in good time.
