Expiry of weapon certificate

Personal background check

When we process your application for a weapon certificate, we will check whether there is any information about you in the police records indicating that giving you access to weapons could be a cause for concern.
Hunting licence

If you want to be issued with a hunting licence, including a guest hunting licence, the police will request that you meet certain requirements before giving their consent to the Danish Agency for Green Area Conversion and Aquatic Environment (Styrelsen for Grøn Arealomlægning og Vandmiljø, SGAV) to issue you with a hunting licence.
